Mystic Lake opened its doors in May 1992. Following the success of Little Six Casino®’s opening ten years prior, Mystic Lake debuted as a premier entertainment destination that has built a legacy of fun, excitement and world-class amenities in the Midwest. Throughout our storied history, Mystic Lake invested in the guests, team members and community with property expansions, top-notch gaming and amenities, luxury hotel towers and the ultimate in convention and meeting space.

1992: Mystic Lake Casino® opens
1996: Club Mystic® debuts
1996: Hotel Tower I opens
2011: The outdoor Mystic Amphitheater opens
2012: Mystic Lake Casino Hotel® is approved to sell and serve alcohol, and a new era in Mystic dining begins.
2014: RiverSouth® is established between Mystic Lake, Little Six®, City of Shakopee. Canterbury Park®, the Minnesota Renaissance Festival and Valleyfair®
2015: JW Marriot® Minneapolis Mall of America®, owned by the SMSC, opens
2018: Mystic Lake Center® opens featuring a nine-story hotel tower, adding 180 rooms and a 70,000 square foot meeting and event center
2019: Mystic Dining is upgraded
2022: Mystic Lake celebrates its 30th anniversary
