ZIGGY MARLEY
Ziggy Marley is an eight-time Grammy Award-winning reggae artist and the eldest son of Bob and Rita Marley. Instead of riding his famous father’s coattails, he blazed his own musical path by infusing reggae with funk, blues, rock and other elements. In his nearly 40-year career, he’s hit No. 1 five times on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart including 2018’s Rebellion Rises, and he’s now considered a legendary reggae artist in his own right.

Burning Spear attributes the start of his musical career to an encounter with Bob Marley in the late 1960s. Over six decades of recording and performing, his music has stayed rooted in reggae, but has evolved to incorporate elements of jazz, funk and rock. A two-time Grammy-Award winner for Best Reggae Album, Burning Spear’s message of love and unity continues to inspire and uplift audiences everywhere.
