Our Shakopee Dakota Convenience Stores deliver fast, fresh and friendly supplies to locals and visitors. Our cashier positions help customers with gasoline and car wash purchases as well as our VIP Rewards benefit program. Mazopiya, an all-natural food market, also offers positions in grocery operations, supply maintenance and retail cashiers.

HEALTH & WELLNESS
The Health and Wellness Department is one of the SMSC's largest departments, with a wide range of services including high-quality child care and early education at Playworks. SMSC Members are also served by a collection of clinics and providers, such as Integrative Health, Mystic Clinic, Shakopee Dakota Medical Clinic, Shakopee Dakota Dental Clinic, the SMSC Vision Clinic, the SMSC Pharmacy, the SMSC Mobile Unit, and visiting specialists.
GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS
The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community is a federally recognized, sovereign nation. Our tribal government oversees the economic, civic and social responsibilities of the SMSC. We look for high-performing support and experienced professionals to administer the tribal government’s expanding operations.

The SMSC Organics Recycling Facility recycles organic materials and crafts a nutrient-rich, natural fertilizer while our farm, Wozupi Tribal Gardens, grows a wide variety of certified organic fruits and vegetables. The SMSC Water Bottling facility provides high-quality bottled water throughout our Enterprises as well as donated across the country to help people and organizations in need.
MARKETING
The marketing team is responsible for protecting the image, advancing the causes and meeting the goals of the SMSC Tribal Government and its members. They also assist in the advertising for SMSC non-gaming enterprises and departments, marketing efforts for special events and the driving force behind the Community’s various websites.
